A selection of medieval and renaissance pieces played on a wide variety of instruments, which included bagpipes, crumhorns, recorders, curtals, shawms and flutes and hurdy-gurdy.

The most recent event for the Waites of Gloucester was at Blackfriars Priory, Gloucester on Sunday 13 September 2009, where they provided background music for a Heritage Open Day.

Blackfriars is  a medieval Dominican priory owned and managed by English Heritage. It is the most complete example surviving in Britain and over the weekend of 12 and 13 September there was a chance to explore this historic building with a Gloucester Civic Trust Guide.
